How do I place an order?

You can place an order over the email, phone or fax. Alternatively you may want to call in and see us.

If it’s the first time you are using us you will be required to pay for either the full value of the goods upfront or a deposit which will be agreed upon before any work commences. If you become a regular client then you can choose to open an account with us.

Clients who have an account with us have thirty days to settle payment.

I'm not a designer so should I use my own artwork?

To be honest, if you want your design to look professional then leave it to the professionals. This is especially important if you are a business. Good design will help to sell your product or service. Bad design or even just average design can do more damage to your prospects than you might think.

We would recommend that you invest at least a third of your print or marketing budget on good design. Our design team are probably cheaper to use than you may realise. Get in touch and we can give you a quote.

I'm using my own design but how do I get it ready for print?

If you need any help with your artwork why not try the 'preparing your artwork for print' page on our website. If this doesn't tell you what you need to know just get in touch. Of course we can prepare your artwork for you but there may be a charge for this service.

Can I see a proof of my artwork before you go to print?

Absolutely, in fact we insist you do. Proofs can be emailed in PDF format or we can supply you with a printed copy. Please be aware that a printed copy can delay the print process because of the extra time mailing it out. Of course it can take even longer to approve if there are amendments to be made.

If your document contains multiple pages or you are ordering a folder or folded document we can also construct a mock-up to give you an idea of how the job will look when completed. This usually costs a little more but gives you a better idea of the finished article before the main printing begins.

Please note that once a proof has been provided it is the responsibility of the client to thoroughly check for any errors with spelling, punctuation, layout or any other features of the work. Glenwood Printing cannot accept any liability for these kinds of mistakes.

How long will my job take to produce?

All work here is treated with equal urgency. As a guide we normally allow five to six working days to complete standard jobs such as leaflets or stationery. Certain other items such as folders, booklets, invoice sets work that require additional finishing may take longer.

Naturally, if you are sending your own artwork and it is ready to print it can be booked in straight away. We will be happy to keep you up to date on the progress of your job. Feel free to give us a call before you place an order and we will provide you with an estimate of the timescale involved.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We can accept payment by cash and cheque as well as most debit cards. We also take credit card payment but there will be small surcharge of 3% to cover handling costs. All our prices are given excluding VAT as some items of print such as leaflets, booklets and brochures are VAT Free.

If you are a registered charity and have a charity advertising certificate you may also qualify for zero rating on certain items.
